Some Dads Are Interested, Some Amused – Mostly We Care
Okay so the headline is a little corny, what can I say I love word play. Most children feel they are living a unique existence, when something goes wrong, or things do not go the ‘right’ way – many times parents are involved.
Social media gives a void to sound off frustration. We can ask questions, float opinions and enjoy the ultimate freedom of expression – well most of the time.
I have been playing with social media from their humble online roots prior to the web on bulletin boards to the highly interactive examples of the day – both web-based and mobile transmitted. I have seen the endless messages of angst, love, understanding and misunderstanding… we are social beings and while everything we say has deep meaning – sometimes the depth is very shallow.
But what many times it is is funny and thought provoking. The site will show the ‘dad really’ tweets I find each day that caught my attention. Sometimes I will reply, others I will leave for you to add to the conversation.
